Worcester Health Company Owner Detained Over MassHealth Scams

Hellen Kiago, a 47-year-old Sturbridge citizen, was jailed on Wednesday early morning for presumably taking about $2.7 million from the MassHealth system as the owner of a Worcester-based home health firm, Attorney General Maura Healey’s workplace stated in a news release Wednesday afternoon.

Supervisors at the Highland Street home health firm did not return a call looking for the remark by the due date on Wednesday. According to Healey’s workplace, Lifestream has a Dracut workplace too and was developed to offer home health services to people with MassHealth insurance, the state’s Medicaid program. Kiago is the sole owner, Healey’s workplace stated.

Judge Klapper also sentenced Watson to 12 months of probation with a hidden sentence of 5 months in the Kansas Department of Corrections.
